It often features a mix of vibrant blue and green hues, sometimes with a striking black or brown matrix therefore giving it a more traditional look with blue dominance. This turquoise is known for its smooth, high-silica content, which gives it a naturally glossy appearance even before polishing.
Most turquoise is mined from veins found in the surrounding stone, but Sonoran Mountain is unique because it is often found in clay deposits as nuggets.
